At the Language Computational Cognitive Science Laboratory, explicitly placing linguistics as a branch of cognitive science, we investigate the computational system of natural languages as well as build “human-like” computational models by comparing human language processing measured with neurobehavioral experiments in cognitive and brain sciences, and machine language processing implemented through computational models in NLP.
