General information

The University Tokyo, Komaba Campus, is located in the Shibuya area, which is located in the south-central Tokyo. As you can see on the map, Shibuya is one of the major stops on JR Yamanote Line, a big ring enclosing central Tokyo.

The first place to look at is hotel listings in the Shibuya area on such sites as www.booking.com, www.tripadvisor.com, and www.expedia.co.jp (please copy-paste these links on your browser). The prices are relatively high, however, so you might wish to look for other areas.

There are less expensive hotel offerings (so-called "business hotels") on Yamanote Line. Check out Yoyogi and Shinjuku (north of Shibuya), Gotanda, Oimachi, and Shinagawa (East of Shibuya). You could also check the Kichijoji area, which is in the suburb of Tokyo but is direcly connected to the University of Toyo campus via Inokashira Line.
